September was a stressful month! Hardest part of this job is sharing the uncertainty, stress, grief that my clients experience when they are faced with an injury or sickness. Not only do they fear for their financial futures but also the loss of patient relationships. Some of my clients have employers that work with them and some have needed legal counsel and have experienced labor law disputes. One certainty is that even a couple of months without an income (before their disability income policy pays), seems like forever and does disrupt your lifestyle. This can happen to anyone.
